Family History Expo a great event to attend

For those of you that have never been to the Family History Expo, you're really missing out. It might be one of the best kept secrets to members who have yet to embrace genealogy work. While most members would argue that genealogy is important, many people such as myself have yet to really do the work. What amazed me about this conference is the amount of information available to anyone interested in tracing their family tree. There was great technology that allows all of this to come together much easier that you could have 10 years ago. That's what really amazes me. Technology coming to the benefit of members and as so many Prophets and leaders have suggested.

It was great to have in the middle of all the festivities. We just loved meeting so many people that discovered our better way of journal keeping. We previewed the book printing process at the Expo and also showed many different members an actual finished book. The response was fantastic. You can actually hear what many people thought of LDSJournal and the book publishing by checking out our YouTube channel at

Thank you to everyone that stopped by. I would also like to say congratulations to Arthur Clarke, who will be getting his U.S. citizenship on Wednesday, November 19. Congrats! And we hope you write about this great day in your journal. :)

I keep hoping that someone in the Mac community will make a serious effort to jump into the digital genealogy world.

Although there are some decent ones, they need to step up to be on par with Legacy and others.

Would have loved to be there!
